The Middle East is burning in fire of fundamentalism, and the world is looking for a way out of this crisis.

While the world’s eyes are pending on the U.S., Barack Obama stated that the U.S. has no strategy for encountering ISIS, but contrary to expectation, an effective solution is coming up in Villepinte, Paris, which was vastly welcomed.

Tens of thousands Iranian showed up in a grand gathering for supporting the Iranian resistance and democratic change in Iran. They are sympathizers of National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) and People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI).

Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, was a keynote speaker of the gathering. She believes that the only solution for encountering Islamic fundamentalism is over throwing of the velayat-e faqih (undisputed rule of clerics) regime in Iran. She quoted as saying, “Today, western and Arab world’s policy makers stress that ISIS and Bashar Assad are the two sides of the same coin. I add that the Caliph in Tehran is the godfather of both of them.” About the emergence of ISIS, Rajavi emphasized, “The fact is that ISIS emerged out of the atrocities perpetrated by [Syrian president] Bashar Assad and [former Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri] Maliki committed on orders from the clerical regime.”

Enormous number of dignitaries from five continents stood shoulder to shoulder of the Iranian resistance and took part in this event including a large Arab delegation, comprising dozens of lawmakers and political dignitaries from Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Morocco, Palestine, Tunisia and Yemen, and a delegation from Syria’s democratic opposition are in attendance in the largest-ever gathering in support of democracy in Iran.

Majority of Bahrain Parliament and Jordan expressed their support of the Iranian resistance prior to the grand gathering. In their statements, Jordanian MPs called for the eviction of Iranian regime from Arab countries; Bahraini MPs had condemned Iran’s meddling in the region and called on the world for hearing the voice of Iranian resistance.

Even though Ayatollahs are backing the Assad regime, yet it is constantly falling back and losing ground to opposition forces. Under such circumstances, participation of Syrian democratic opposition members in the gathering was notable, showing the ties between Iranian and Syrian people on what they called “the last phase of dictators in Iran and Syria.”

The attendees expressed their solidarity with the PMOI members in Camp Liberty, Iraq, demanding for ending the siege of Camp Liberty, guaranteeing the protection of the resident refugees. “The 2,500 refugees in Camp Liberty are the flag-bearers for the future of Iran,” said Struan Stevenson, President of the Brussels-based institute European Iraqi Freedom Association (EIFA). “They are heroes. I call on the US and the UN to protect these people, not to betray them.”
